Yuma, Arizona - Dog Haus, the celebrated Los Angeles-based concept known for its gourmet hot dogs, sausages, burgers, and one-of-a-kind creations, will be opening its first Arizona location in Yuma on Friday, November 6th. Located at 1651 South 4th Avenue, the restaurant from franchisee Jeron Boemer will be his first of five coming locations for the emerging restaurant brand, which was originally founded by three partners, André Vener, Hagop Giragossian, and Quasim Riaz, in 2010 to recapture the nostalgic childhood experience of enjoying a hot dog.

“My family has a long history in Yuma and our businesses have always been a big part of the community,” says Boemer. “When I was introduced to Dog Haus, I knew that this was the perfect restaurant for Yuma, and I can’t wait to introduce my hometown to the absolute würst!”

As part of Dog Haus' introduction to the community, guests are invited to swing by from 11am-10pm on Friday, November 6th to enjoy a free Haus Dog from a selection of Dog Haus’ seven signature hot dog creations featuring classic all-natural beef skinless dogs served up on grilled King's Hawaiian Rolls. Options will include fan favorites like Sooo Cali, with arugula, tomato, crispy onions, spicy basil aioli and avocado; Downtown Dog, featuring a smoked bacon wrapped dog topped with caramelized onions, roasted bell peppers, mayo, mustard, and ketchup; or The Cowboy, with white American cheese, smoked bacon, bbq sauce, and crispy onions.

To pair with their dogs, diners can order fare from Dog Haus' full menu, which is rounded out with gourmet sausages, burgers, corn dogs, sides, beer and shakes. Other Haus items include The Fonz, that partners a spicy Italian sausage with pastrami and melted mozzarella; while Das Brat features a bratwurst with caramelized onions, sauerkraut, white American cheese, and whole grain mustard aioli. Haus Burgers run the gamut from the trademarked The Freiburger®, with white American cheese, a fried egg, haus slaw, fries and mayo; to Holy Aioli, with white American cheese, caramelized onions, smoked bacon, and garlic aioli.

Lighter eaters and kids can indulge in smaller-sized portions – the dog slider is made with an all-natural beef mini dog, haus made cheese sauce, shredded cheddar and bacon; the burger slider has just the right amount of caramelized onions, white American cheese, and mayo; while the corn dog slider features an all-beef mini dog dipped in haus made root beer batter. Equal attention is paid to the quality-driven sides, like chili cheese tots or fries with haus made cheese sauce, cheddar, haus chili, and green onions; beer-battered onion rings; and sweet potato fries. Save room for dessert and finish off the meal with a Fosselman’s premium ice cream milkshake or soft serve.

To complement the menu offerings, diners can pair their meal with a can of red, white, or bubbly wine, choose from a selection of boozy milkshakes for adults, or imbibe from the craft draught and canned beer selection that will include a varied range of styles to fit every beer drinker’s taste.  Guests can enjoy their cans served up in Dog Haus koozies, a nod to backyard BBQs, or alternatively, all those with a classic PBR craving can get their lager fix with a brown paper bag wrapped can.

The fast-casual concept, designed to elevate the nostalgic experience of eating that quintessential hot dog or burger, combines this nostalgia with the contemporary aesthetic of its modern industrial space. After ordering at the counter, diners can gather around communal-style tables outfitted with bar stools or at cozier tables that span the perimeter of the 2,615 square-foot restaurant. Striking red and black accents enliven both interior and exterior, bringing a modern sensibility to the classic concept.
